Let's Celebrate 13 new PhDs in Mathematics at UGA

The mathematics department will graduate 13 new PhDs in the next few months. We think that this is the occasion to have a big party, in honor of 

Nickolas Castro, Will Hardesty, Jacob Hicks, Lauren Huckaba, Kenny Jacobs, Phong Luu, Patrick McFaddin, Thomas Needham, George Slavov, Lee Troupe, Maren Turbow, Matthew Zawodniak, and Jun Zhang.

4:00 - 5:00 Tea and Social in the Matrix 

Five of our graduating PhDs found the time in this busy end of the year and volunteered to give a short presentation on their work.
